So Much TIME!

Photo by Krivec Ales on Pexels.com

Can anyone now say that they have “no time” to do something. Can anyone think that the “time” has come to be grateful for the time that they have to do something for themselves? well, now is the time. Time, no time, all the time in the world now comes into play as we hunker down inside of our homes, apartments and dwellings to spend “TIME” with ourselves.

We have had socialization removed from our venues, gatherings reduced to essential concerns and time to spend on ourselves to reveal truths long hidden. What can you do with this time? Can you make it time well spent in positivity or does fear play a bigger part. The fears of the familiar things that we occupy our “time” in. Now is the time to say hey, I can and not I can no longer. What sends you in forward motion and not in what holds you back?

Even though all the things we tend to do to occupy our time has been taken from us there is much more that has been given to us. The time to wake up and feel free from the stress of moving faster than time allows. The time to see our children and have small conversations that lead to bigger ones and time to invent new ideas on how to be healthier and wiser than before. The yesterdays of yesterday are now gone and we have awoken to a new way of living. What we thought would help us is no longer available and it’s now the “time” to take into consideration family and self over social lifestyle. I bet you will learn in the days ahead something new. I bet you will know your self better and the children you are raising too. I know you will make changes to feel better and consume less of the fears and anxiety you are now facing.

Sometimes life has to get complicated, sometimes being complete takes work. Values are changing as validations are sensed into a new way to live to your potential. Spend this “time” to see yourself different when the doors again open to life as “usual.” Think about what you can do to create less stress and anxiety in your lifestyle and always remember, what can you do now, to make this a better place for those to come next. It isn’t “all about us” it’s about the greater whole. What you do today is what your tomorrows will eventually come to be. Nothing stays the same no matter how hard you try to persuade it to be. Be simpler, be courageous in your new thoughts and be a forward thinker and not one stuck in the revolving door to no where. There is no “time” to blame, no place to shame or judge what is right now. There is only room to improve. BE better than your former self, BE stronger in convictions that give you compassion and BE the future you that thrives on positivity. Darkness cannot survive when the lights are on. No shadows to scare you or ideas that will have you running backwards.

On this day of reflection do something that “no Time” allows and place no restriction of “too much time” to do nothing but wallow in self pity. I know these are strong words. Words that I too will take into consideration as I place my day, my life in forward moment.

Piece Out and make good choices.

All In

Photo by Quang Nguyen Vinh on Pexels.com

What is “All In”? What happens when you say to yourself or another “I’m All In?” How does it happen? When does it happen? Why do we do it?”

All in, theres a lot going on in those 2 small words. All in vs. not in at all or maybe a little bit? Can there be consequences to being, the “all” to the “some”? It makes me wonder exactly what “all in” really is.

Does “ALL IN” involve one side against the other? 2 parts of the whole when the whole is us? The person self divided, right brain vs. left or maybe head vs. heart. How often do we fight for “all in” when it comes to our own personal history? Are we swayed by the family and its history or the history of our nation? We seem to follow recipes that have been around for ages, decisions made hundreds of generations ago. How do they fit in this modern generation? “I’m all in” yes you are. “All” in the muck and the quick sand. Futuristic plans, momentous obligations set in motion with instruction manuals, signs with no value and you stepped right in without knowing where you could be headed. Maybe we could use a new book of values and valuations, a new set of signs that are set in truth. Values have changed and with those new values come new validations of how we pursue our future. How do you perceive your true nature? Are you your mirror image of a parent or grandparent whom learned differently or are you a pioneer learning as you go and what works for you.

It’s time to take a chance on life. See the future in the present moment and decide whether it works for you? Don’t be afraid to venture out and say something more and when it comes to being “all in” create your own recipe for living present and then……

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL. Peace out my friends we all have something to learn here on this planet of choices, challenges and big changes.

My gift to you is love of self in the moment your eyes touch this page.

How Deep Is Your Rabbit Hole.

Photo by Xhyle Muhaxheri on Pexels.com

Today’s just a story I want to tell. Sometimes the best way to get out of the way is through stories that connect and help one disconnect to a world gone sideways. Sometimes coming back to the middle is the hardest part, the middle of anything where we feel neutral and aware. Our sight can see into the distance and we get to know where we are. Today seems to be one of those days. It could be foggy, rainy or any other weather related condition, it comes from the mind though and that is the difference. Reality sucks no matter what when we see it through the eyes of our fears and our faults.

My story starts with Alice, an average person with more than average ideas. She sees her reality as jumping point for a all the ideas yet to come. She wants to challenge herself with being aware of the challenges that could come her way and put distance between her fears about the future and the present moment. Her days begin with a longing for new ideas and her days end with sorting out those ideas that did work in a positive way. The rest were recycled knowledge that could be used again or shredded because they were of no use to her enlightenment.

Alice had an idea and that idea was of course her interest in rabbit holes. Everyone has them, she would confess yet one had to want to get to know them for them to appear. Her rabbit hole was under a particular tree down the lane and by a wonderful forest. A tree large enough to hold her in its arms and caress her in kindness while she thought about life. Sometimes the tree gave her hope and she didn’t need to go anywhere and sometimes she wanted to go deeper, so down the rabbit hole she went.

Deeper and deeper she slid and as she did she hoped that there would be no interference from her mind in an attempt to dissuade her from continuing. Every curve, every turn was like a door opening in her mind where she could make that decision to continue and release any of those unwanted thoughts.

Close to the bottom she gains momentum because she can se the light of hope. Hope that the challenges are almost done and the joy of hitting bottom. When one hits bottom it’s not necessarily “bottom” but an opening to something that brings you that hope. A different choice, idea or the door opening for you to see that future you had “hoped” for. Revelations come in opportunities that tell us sometimes we need to make a different choice instead of the ones we always make. It’s a hard landing when that happens, the slide gains momentum and you land bum first and it could hurt. Yet if you can shake it off stand your ground and see something more the pain soon goes away. You think differently and yes you change.

How deep is your rabbit hole and is it time to head down to make those difficult choices? Is this the time for the changes, when the situations that have lingered are like a fly to a full garbage bin? Time to get out the fly swatter or better yet haul the garbage away. Clean slate, simple measures that become usable and attainable, being minimal sometimes works best.

Today I will be brave. Today I will make choices and open different doors that I’m used to. Today is the day to challenge myself with my own “Stuff” and own my trip down the rabbit hole. Freedom and fear cannot survive together. I choose to be free of fear and find a new freedom in different choices, understand why I challenge myself and greet change with open arms.

Peace out my friends and your rabbit hole awaits you. The journey may be fearful in the beginning yet the joy at the end is well deserved.

anytime you want to take let me know.

Whatever You Do, Make It Count

Photo by Joslyn Pickens on Pexels.com

A penny a day keeps one in purpose. Dimes and nickels are added bonuses when it comes to saving grace. The sound of the coin hitting the jar is a chime in your ear and a voice to your compassion. What are you saving for? A rainy day, a vacation from life maybe or a better life? Is living in the future by saving those coins really count when your voice is hesitant to give a passionate betrayal? Are you real or are you living in a unwanted reality?

Making Pennies count starts with a vision. It moves into many times that until the visions meld together for a better future. Can you give it all away to a present that calls you to do so? Why do you hold onto it. It’s only coins in a jar that present a history of desires and not a true future.

I own a golden hammer and I keep it in a drawer next to my bed. Each night as I sleep I reach into the drawer and find that hammer and find ways to gift myself the coins in my jar. I use it for those in need of compassion. I recognize those that hurt and find ways to heal their pain. Some nights I fly through the air to see if my future really does exist and if it doesn’t I come home and change it up. I give hugs, I find ways ways to love the loveless and with each coin that I put away I find hope for a better future.

We are running out of time. Yet we have many full coin containers for those days that may never show up because we need to be gifting our coins to the present moment. Put a coin in the piggy bank every time you take the time to meditate. Send a coin down the slot each time you smile at a homeless person in compassion. It all makes better cense that sense sometimes.

Short and sweet. Peace Out my friends and get those piggy banks from under the bed, from in the closets and use them now. Your dreams await you.

Utopian, Yesterday’s

Utopian yesterday’s can bring one to their knees. Harmonic and placating, in a sense, it could bring images of contentment. Images we wished would never end.

Do we defend our yesterday’s as if they are Utopian? War against the tomorrows we believe will come, until they become different? Are we unable to find an inability to move in a forward direction, with the ability to leave behind the unwanted debris? What do we do with the left over ambitions that we never put to use? Do we have rows of filing cabinets that hold a lot of useless information? Information in file folders full of dust yet still telling ourselves”one day.” Utopian ambition is yesterday’s news.
Sometimes a Blissful tomorrow pops up in our queue, what about those? Buried information that could be useful if we only could understand the knowledge. Unabridged books of forward thinking, mindful actions and recipes in good faith that my bring an end to backward conversations that go nowhere.

Utopian yesterdays are defended wars that we should have had closure on a longtime ago. There is never any good that comes out of outdated, dusty old issues. What happened to simple endings?

Simple, uncomplicated and mindful can be the only Utopian we need. Yes’s and no’s will do in a pinch. Ideas that go in a circle can only feed us nonsense. Minimal is short stories vs. long tiring fantasies.

I’m still hanging in there for my Utopian moment. A moment not built on yesterday’s long gone. Some day will come and it will be good.

Peace Out.

The Message Is The Same, (until you read it differently)

The message is the same or is it? The school of life invites you to attend classes each and everyday yet do we show up? Class evaluation is done by us, for us and because of us. The curriculum is different for each and every student. We learn because we choose to learn for us and not the masses. We hunger for knowledge for ourselves and not for the people who choose to be not understanding of your own personal goals. Life is not for the general public. It’s a science with a half shelf life, always changing course, always growing in an individualistic way and profound. Observe, quantify, understand. It’s a biology of belief, it’s purpose and believing in ourselves. It’s in modification in the way that we can tweak it to whatever it needs to be. We should want more out of ourselves than becoming robots in a deep rooted system of choices that no longer pertain to pattern out molded.

To learn and to grow is the ability to be individualistic. Come and learn at your own pace and realize you have the ability to say no to anything which doesn’t concern your growth. How we choose to take care of business, the business of living should be open and not authorized by one man or woman. No one in control of the whole when the whole is not the same. Each person to their own when it comes to the pace and the knowledge they want to access. To be able to do your “own thing” makes you successful and not one of many.

Are we in it to win it? Then why aren’t we listening to the message. I’m not saying go rogue, yet be a vagabond on an adventure. See what you learn by using your eyes, understand what your learning by listening to your own unique message and be mindful of the message that’s delivered.

Love yourself, learn the bigger picture of you by being a forward thinker. Don’t be afraid to not be normal because you may find out you are good at something different. Let others see the real you, not the story teller that lives in a make believe land of Oz. Oz is real, Oz is in all of us and all we have to do is find it. We all have a recipe book that has our own name on it.

Peace Out. Always here to be interrupted and indulged upon. Message me I do give intuitive advice.

Hearing, What Did You Say?

Photo by Maria Tyutina on Pexels.com

Hello. What, what did you say? I wasn’t listening, I was distracted. Can you repeat that so I can understand? Have truths, big lies and conversation in-between.

What did you understand about what I said? Did you hear me at all. Listening at half volume will strain your ears to hear. Trying to understand a point of view, when your hearing is turned down with create tension in the mind. The brain will push you to anxiety and the truth can never be fully expressed. Can you turn down the background noise? Did you up the volume on the TV so no one could really hear you? You could then claim a no brainer on what you said. Is it true you had no intention of wanting someone to actually listen to you. Or maybe you yelled it out, your story, so it became unbelievable. If you want to be listened to, then you also need to listen. Listen like the voice you hear is the last voice you will ever hear. Listen for the tone of truth, the anticipated answer you had hoped for, then smile in recognition. Staring back blank faced will get you somewhere you don’t want to be.

Too many half truths out there will give you fill in the blank novels. Descriptive novellas that seem too good to be true, and for some reason we never question it. Command attention from the room making sure you know what you are saying. Turn down the background noises and own the podium. Make sure you are real and not trying to express a reality that you can’t face in the mirror. Ask for advice and listen harder than what you would expect from your listeners.

Value is as valuable does. Both ears not one, a whole mind and not half. Ask if you’re understood. Understand with hope, acknowledge without fear and believe that if you want the truth then speak it, in all ways. I’m not listening whispered in your own ears doesn’t help, deception is for novels made up not realities played out in person, to person. Want more from those expected to give, of themselves, then ask less of the lies and more of the truth. Make wisdom your champion. Tell anyone who try’s otherwise to bugger off. Theres no room for half baked, have cooked up or half fed.

I have one recipe to give: Be fully attentive to the world outside because one day you may have to answer the question of how well you did and on that day it’s your turn to feed others truth.

Peace Out on this beautiful Sunday.

Hey

Photo by Ivan Bertolazzi on Pexels.com

Hey, if you walk in a circle where do we go? Do we walk forward and backwards at the same time? Are circles just straight lines that have decided to bend a little or bend a lot? Can we turn a square into a circle by rounding out the corners or how about take that circle and push it outwards and call it a square.

Our times are complicated. Nothing is as it seems to be. There’s no straight lines, right or left turns or beginnings and endings. We never go from A to B anymore and what happened to the content page where we could find out where we could go to find the answers. Endings come before beginnings, mazes have no reason to be finished and where the hell did the stop signs go? We are running without understanding why we are running or where we are running to. Our minds are not made up anymore it just gets dizzy. Circles never get us anywhere straight lines have a start line but never seems to be measured or kept in check. When was the last time you did points on a graph? Pointless because no one wants to follow any rules. garbage bags full of stuff, all kinds of left over good news and reality checks all thrown away and discarded without being checked.

Is there a “Hell in a Hand Basket?” If there is we are all in one. Why do we make rules, follow recipes and have people in charge when no one seems to remember how. Weights and measures who cares, we should. One day the return lane will be full of broken promises and the complaint line even longer because someone forgot to hire someone to listen.

No more crying Wolf, he’s come and gone and eaten up his fill. Where will he show up next? One thing for sure we never know what has happened while we were asleep, it all still amazes me that the world still stands, that we do exist and that life is not an anomaly.

Be brave, stand up for what is right because one day we will find out the world has come to an end and we have missed the bus to freedom. Peace Out.

Tick Tock (again)

Photo by Krivec Ales on Pexels.com

Tick Tock, Tick tock, tick tock and the clock strikes the tone of the hour.

Tick, tock, beware the chiming of the times ahead as they show us this minute where the hour will stop. Alarm bells go off where the time has been set and it’s past due. Someone forgot to set the alarm and we have all slept in. Now what? Tick tock better get on it before it’s too late. What time is it? Is anyone aware of the hour, the minute or the second? Someone must have noticed time has begun to run backwards? History in the making, or remaking which one is it, tick tock, tick tock. Time has slowed down so we can catch up yet I see no one running. We are about to be exposed to all the bells, in all the clocks to ding “done” all at one time.

Someone let the clock stop. The pendulum isn’t moving. My watch looks broken so I can’t even help. Ask someone the time and they won’t know either because we are all living in the past. Ask me yesterday about the tomorrows to come and I can only open the book to read to you about what history did. Repeat it and you can never go wrong. Take the clock and wind it backwards and you will eventually get the right number but not the right day. Been there, done that so why are we setting ourselves up for the clock to stop before it’s meant to chime.

Tick tock, get ready. Tick tock, get set, Tick tock, go. Yes, you were suppose to go, get moving make a new moment for yourself. Not a moment based on the past, but on the present moment when you look down and see the time is right.

Peace Out and Behave. BE a better self and Become the future.

Done….(like dinner)

Photo by Mau00ebl BALLAND on Pexels.com

Done. What does that mean? Whats done? As in dinner, or as in you, me or the world? When do we know? How do we know? In what context does “done” represent?

I may say I’m done. You may say it too. Is it the me that’s feeling done, as in completion of…? Or is it something more that I know yet just can’t wrap my head around. I do know when I am aware of it yet life is way more complicated than that. Life is not simple and being done is never something that minimal. Done is more than its definition. It’s more that the sequence of events that could point you in that direction. It’s the very stop sign that stands tall and upright, right in front of your face. Sometimes done is invisible. Sometimes it wears clothing it doesn’t represent and sometimes it just is.

Done like dinner and yet we even screw that up. How many times are we done and we never act on it, change the channel or pull dinner out of the oven when we are meant to. We are, creatures of habit. We are over achievers. We can’t seem to get it when the plate is empty and it’s meant to stay empty, not to be filled again with same out stuff. Over and over we go round the Mulberry bush, singing rhymes of yesterday.

Say done, when you mean it. Say done when it’s time to let go. Say done when you can’t seem to get it and the repetition is too much for you to handle. There is no regret in being done. There is no fear in deciding to be done and when you’re done it’s time to stand up, walk away from the table and be done. Sometimes that Mulberry bush needs to be uprooted and replaced with a bed of flowers, something more appreciative and sensed.

Do nothing and everything is done for you is nice to say yet if you don’t ever get off the fence….? “Pete and repeat sat on a fence, Pete fell off, now who was left?” You know the rif and that’s what we do all the time repeat the old, outdated over done dinners we have served ourselves for ages. It’s time for difference.

Peace Out and if your in British Columbia like me Happy Family Day.
